Online companies have been selling pretty hard over the phone lately and it made me want to write a quick document as a reference guide so you can understand what you are getting for the price and the value of what you actually get.
For purposes of understanding what they are selling, there are a few key items to understand. Please view the graphic off to the right for clarification.
The results under the top AdWords are the results SEO's will attempt to rank you for.
The AdWords circled in red as noted in the graphic are Paid Google AdWords. This is what AdWord Professionals are selling to you the consumer. You pay them to run your AdWords campaign. It's that simple. The question is, can your current provider do this?
Some quick terms and vocabulary before we dig into the value of paid Adwords.

The Difference Between SEO and PPC
I hear a lot of AdWord sales professionals touting how great their services are and how great AdWords/PPC is for your business and how being #1 is important. I will agree to a certain degree, but there are a SEVERAL key distinctions that need to be made between Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click advertising.

- The design looks really, really dated compared to some of your competitors.
