Overview: Matt and Brandon needed a clean and need website to market their Minneapolis real estate agent services. I came up with a design to encompass cities in the Minneapolis / St Paul Metro Area and include the MLS as inline frames since the Northstar MLS is quite inflexible.
Design: The Minneapolis real estate website is written in CSS and is search engine friendly to help market their services. The website offers tons of content related to Minneapolis and the greater Metro area.
Search Engines: The website pages and content is written to increase the funnel for searches related to Minneapolis, Homes and Real Estate services in the Twin Cities, Metro Area, Minneapolis and St. Paul market.
Minneapolis Community Information, Neighborhoods, & Homes for Sale
The website features Minneapolis Real Estate content broken down by communities and then by neighborhoods. Each of the Minneapolis communities of Camden, Central, Longfellow, Phillips, Powderhorn, Near North, Nokomis, Northeast, Southwest, University offer information about the particular Minneapolis community and also a integrated search from the Northstar MLS system so you can search each particular Minneapolis area.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt & Brandon. They have two completely difference personalities... Matt being the idea man and Brandon being the balance. I found it strange that this 9 year partnership has only grown stronger over the years.
Search Engine Services and SEO
As most agents or real estate professionals know, a vital part of their budget is going towards the internet since 77% of users are starting their home search on the internet. Matt & Brandon's Minneapolis real estate website needed definite punch when 3plains first took over the website. I did some spot checking for Minneapolis, St. Paul, Lake Minnetonka and related terms and they were not even being found in Google or Yahoo. In MSN, it was hit and miss.
So, the first thing I did was take over their Minneapolis real estate website from their current provider and ramp up the content, fix the code, cleaned up the forms and add a few things I thought that could help conversions in the Minneapolis market.
In a couple months, the Barker & Hedges website traffic shot up and their website was being found by a lot of key Minneapolis terms. Currently, the website is on the first 2 pages in Google for key terms of Minneapolis real estate and other major terms.
Success
Leads have doubled since 3plains took over the website. 3plains does not track conversions, but so far we feel that the Minneapolis real estate market will become dominated by the Barker & Hedges Re/Max real estate team & and so far all signs look good.
