Checking Your Junk Mail/SPAM/Virus Filter

How to check your junk mail/SPAM/virus filter.

It is vital you check your junk mail daily or every other day since normal mail can get caught from time to time. We check ours weekly since we find 99.5% of emails won't end up in the SPAM filter.

Here are the steps to login to your junk mail:

1) Type in an internet browser:

mail.yourdomainname.com (Note: no www)

2) Type in your username/password:

Type in your email address and password that 3plains Web Solutions has assigned to you.

Username: yourname@yourdomainname.com
Password: yourpassword (3plains assigned this to you or you may have reset it)

3) Delete your SPAM or Non-SPAM emails

2 ways to do this. 1 check through your webmail. Go to http://mail.yourdomainname.com as shown below. On the left hand side when you login you will see a link called "SPAM". Go through that folder and delete spam or junk mail. if you see a email that shouldn't have been put in there, drag it to your inbox or mark it as non-spam.

The 2nd way to check your SPAM box is to use Thunderbird or another email client that uses IMAP and check your spam that way. It's much easier and we recommend it.
