New Email/IT Support Preferred Vendor
We're making some changes in 2024 so we can focus on the things we do best. You're receiving this email because we are no longer reselling or supporting email services. The world of email has become so complicated there are now many companies fully dedicated to email services and support, which is what we recommend for you. Don't panic! We're here to help.
What does this mean for me?
Nothing immediately unless your email subscription renewal is coming up shortly. If you're on an annual email renewal, you can wait until you're close to the end of the renewal to make a decision, but we recommend you look into your options sooner than later as we will end all reseller services and email support on September 1st, 2024.
What are my options?
- Preferred Option - Use PAC Computers (https://pacnola.com/) to help you migrate to a more friendly suite of services for your email, with less SPAM, and more options for your business. Their experts will evaluate your needs as a client, and provide you with the best options for migration. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Business Basic are two great products with a host of tools and services like calendar integration, managed contacts, tasks, etc. They can help you decide what's best for you.
- Easiest Option - Stay with Rackspace. We are partnered with theXYZ (https://www.thexyz.com/), so if you want the easiest transition, we can transfer your billing to them and they will be your new email support company. Perry will be your new contact and will reach out with more details, but you won't need to change anything on your end or on any of your devices. Simple right? However we do not recommend staying with Rackspace Email with the large amount of SPAM and Phishing emails that come along with the Rackspace Email service.
- DIY/Other Option - Choose a different vendor to help you migrate your email, or simply do it yourself. This is obviously requires a lot more work on your end, so we recommend using PAC to simplify things for you.
What are my next steps?
Look at your options, and decide which direction you want to go. You'll want to make a decision before your email subscription is up, so keep that in mind when choosing the timing of the migration. Again, we are ending all reseller services and email support on September 1st, 2024. However, with a new website platform, new eCommerce solutions, and new services coming soon we're hoping to make 2024 our best year yet!
