Will 3plains work with your print, embroidery or merchandise company?
Yes. However, after initial delivery, we must bill for any additional time working with your printer, embroidery or merchandise company to make sure we are compensated for our designers time working with your chosen vendor.
Final Files From 3plains
When we first deliver the logo to you, we provide all the necessary files (AI and EPS) for your printer or merchandise company to accomplish the output you need. If you have a website with us, we also provide a downloads link with EPS, PDF, JPG and PDF files.
You may be required to work directly with your chosen vendor to choose ink, vinyl or thread colors for your logo to ensure it's output meets your needs. Remember colors viewed on our computers here at 3plains will look different than on your compute, and your vendors computers. We highly recommend choosing final output colors with your chosen vendor.
Embroidery shops will need to convert your .eps file to a .dst file - which is machine embroidery format. 3plains does not have DST file software, nor do we may make recommendations since we leave that to embroidery shops since they are the professionals in that space. Some designs/photos are complicated, need to be separated into layers and some details eliminated in regards to stitching. Many professional embroidery shops will do the digitizing for a setup fee or build it into the cost.
A few of our clients have asked for a DXF file. A AutoCAD DXF (Drawing Interchange Format, or Drawing Exchange Format) is a CAD data file format developed by Autodesk for enabling data interoperability between AutoCAD and other programs. This allows laser engraving on shotguns, rifles and other types of items. We will be happy to convert to a DXF file for a fee.
